For the Family

Over the years, North Ranch Country Club has evolved into a family focused club. Whether it is one of our 13 family events, like the Father-Daughter Dance, Easter Brunch, Family Frozen Night or Campout on the Driving Range, bringing the kids to our Camp North Ranch summer camps, or just bringing the family to enjoy an afternoon at the Club, we have created a family-centered atmosphere that encourages members to spend time with their loved ones of all ages.

  • Junior Golf Development Program
    • Our Junior Golf Development Program is held every Wednesday from 3:30 – 4:45 pm with our North Ranch Country Club golf professionals. This program is designed for all skill levels from ages 6-16. Our goal is to enhance the enjoyment, knowledge and appreciation of the game. All facets of the game will be instructed with the help of PGA trained instructors that will be on hand to help every student with his or her individual needs. We want to enhance the overall life skills, game development and competitive interest of NRCC junior players. Our lesson program will cover the following:

      • The fundamentals of the swing, putting, chipping and bunker play using swing video analysis.
      • Playing on the course
      • Rules and etiquette
      • Golf course management
      • Establishing a pre–shot routine
      • Help to achieve confidence to fully enjoy the game
      • Proper club fitting
      • Mental side of the game
      • Help to guide them playing competitively - Example: Junior Tournaments, High School Golf, etc.
  • Junior Tennis Weekly Clinics
    • Our Junior Tennis Weekly Clinics hosted by our tennis pros are designed to help your child improve their game in a smaller group environment. You can pick the days to best fit your schedule and your child is placed in different ability groups based on the Challenge Ladder System and our Tennis Director.

NR1 (10-18yrs): This is our top level academy group. All of these players play USTA tournaments regularly and play tennis at their respective school teams. Tennis is their primary sport.

NR2 (8-16yrs): All of these players are starting to play USTA and VCJTA tournaments. These players are starting to think about strategic play as they have a basic understand of all stroke mechanics. These players are considering tennis as their primary sport.

NR3 (5-10yrs): This is our entry academy level group. These players are learning the fundamentals of grips, strokes, scoring and general tennis play. These players will begin with 10 & under tennis balls and drills.

  • Summer Camps
    • Camp North Ranch is the perfect way to help keep your kids busy during the summer and nurture their love for golf, tennis, or both! They are able to sign up for just one sport or both and enjoy a full day at the club learning from our pros.

  • Family Events
    • Some of the best events we host here at North Ranch Country Club are designed with families in mind. We love that our family events become part of traditions and that members look forward to them every year – in fact, they sell out! Whether it is camping out on the driving range, competing in the family costume contest at Family Freight Night, or winning the annual pie eating contest at the Back to School Carnival, we put on events that appeal to all ages.
