OAKS COURSE

The Oaks is considered by many members to be our most difficult nine. At 3400 yards, it is not long by modern standards, but rarely does one find so much trouble on both sides of the fairway off the tee! Rarely can you find a level lie to hit from, increasing the difficulty when approaching the greens. Accuracy is a must to score well on the Oaks.

Hole #1 - "This is a good par 4 to start off the Oaks nine. A good drive will leave you, in most cases, a wedge to the green. This should be considered a good birdie opportunity. Only problem on this hole is if the second goes over the green. This will leave a very difficult shot back to hold and a tough par. A good start for the inward nine."
